Dr. Stokes graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Medical School. She completed her residency at the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey and at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, New York, New York. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Stokes obtained a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgetown University and a master’s degree in nursing from Yale University. She then received a Ph.D from Columbia University. Dr. Stokes and her husband reside in Plano. They have three grown children, and five grandchildren. In her free time, Dr Stokes enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, gardening and reading.
